Cake purse

This was fun! Vanilla sheet cake with custard filling. The purse was chocolate cake with custard filling. Figuring out how to build a purse was a blast! The birthday girl had no idea what she wanted because she doesn't like cake. Her only stipulation was as little frosting as possible and to use hot pink and brown in the decorations. How easy!

I like it a lot! You and your cakes. So, when you guys move to Utah to live closer to me, do you want to be involved in my bakery? :)

You may live to regret this, (and I can't believe I'm admitting this outloud), but I've actually daydreamed about that!

Move over Betty Crocker, here comes Madam RoseBush!! ;)

Mercy Deb --- I'm never baking anything again --- everything is going to pale in comparison. How about cookies?? Do you do cookies or are they still a safe thing for me to try?!?!

You are fabulous & I stand amazed at your abilities!

(this is the part of the show when there's mel1 and mel2 -- i'm the one who does NOT bake -- can't do any of that -- it's good to know there IS a mel out there who CAN bake...just wanted to clarify....and again, completely humiliate myself in front of all you wonderful cooks....) *sigh*
